KREIDLER       1994—95

Kreidler Tierfilm, cover Hednrik Krawen

Tierfilm

Tierfilm is the second digital single from Kreidler's Early Recordings 1994–95.
A song originally on Riva, the band's debut.

An overwhelmer of sorts, where the drums let it out, pouncing on something close to dub heavily, while the keyboard goes all aboulic. Bass plays it cool, unfazed turning its rounds. A screaming screamer in its way. Yes, those were the heady days of 1994.

Written and performed by Thomas Klein, Andreas Reihse, Stefan Schneider, Detlef Weinrich, recorded at Studio Internazionale, Düsseldorf, September 1994. Mix with Fritz Sitterle at Frosch Studio, Düsseldorf, October 1994.
(Re-) mastering; Detlef Funder at Paraschall Düsseldorf, July 2025

Cover design: Cafconc Ed. with a photography of Torsten Goffin

Kreidler Anti-Car, cover Hednrik Krawen

Anti—Car

On 17 October 2025, Kreidler's earliest recordings will be re-issued via Bureau B.
In advance, Anti—Car sees a digital release on September 10.

Kreidler recorded Anti—Car in Summer 1995 with Matthias Arfmann in his studio in Hamburg-St. Pauli.

While the title might refer to its stop—and—go—motorik, its heady exploration of the room and the
krauty space in-between the instruments owes equal parts to punk, dub and club:  »decisive and
shimmering  (...)  a no-nonsense, clear, funky vision of radical openness«
 (Seda Mimaroğlu)

Recorded & mixed with Souldier Niceprice at Knochenhaus Tonraum Hamburg, Summer 1995. Original mastering and cut: Eberhard Kliewer.
(Re-) mastering; Detlef Funder at Paraschall Düsseldorf, July 2025

Cover design: Cafconc Ed. with a photography of Torsten Goffin
