KREIDLER celebrate the 10th anniversary of their groundbreaking 2009 album »Mosaik 2014« with a remastered edition. The reissue of the record features an updated track list and is pressed onto 140g white vinyl
(italic.de, Bandcamp or Rough Trade).
For the occasion of the re-release, KREIDLER were presenting an expanded spatial mix of the album. The sound installation »MOSAIK 2014 Seven Speakers« ran at ITALIC from March 16 to April 20 2019 with an opening reception on March 15.
»Seven Speakers« was initiated by KREIDLER member Alex Paulick with the intention of presenting music in surround sound in public settings. The 7.1-technology offers the potential for musicians to produce for the format with standard audio equipment and software, as well as the ease and affordability of creating the playback situation in accessible and temporary spaces.
The first two instalments of »Seven Speakers« saw Min Stiller creating a landscape of plants and ceramics on wooden structures, with the speakers and cables organically nestled in. »Seven Speakers A Listening Environment« 2010 at Gartenstudio, Berlin showcased compositions by eight artists/artistic groups: Narrow Bridges, Barbara Morgenstern & Chor der Kulturen der Welt, Marcus Schmickler, Kante, Bacchus Marteau, CFM, Phillip Sollmann, and KREIDLER - with an extended surround-version of their song »Kremlin Rules«.
The second instalment at project space NR4 was part of the CTM festival in 2011 in Berlin.
In Spring 2017 »Seven Speakers« was guest at Image Movement Berlin for a surround-mix of the then most recent KREIDLER album: »European Song Seven Speakers«.

KREIDLER feiern das 10-jährige Jubiläum ihres wegweisenden 2009er Albums »Mosaik 2014« mit einer neu gemasterten Wiederveröffentlichung. Die Neuauflage der Platte enthält eine aktualisierte Trackliste und ist auf 140g weißes Vinyl gepresst (italic.de, Bandcamp oder Rough Trade).
Aus diesem Anlass haben KREIDLER eine Surround-Version des Albums erstellt. Die Soundinstallation »Mosaik 2014 Seven Speakers« wurde bei ITALIC vom 16. März bis zum 20. April präsentiert. Mit einer Eröffnung am 15 März.
»Seven Speakers« wurde von KREIDLER Mitglied Alex Paulick initiiert; mit der Intention, Musik im Surroundklang in einer temporären Situation zu präsentieren. Die 7.1-Technologie bietet Musiker*Innen die Möglichkeit, mit einem Standart-Equipment aus Soft-und Hardware relativ unaufwendig für das Surround-Format zu produzieren und eine Wiedergabesituation in öffentlich zugänglichen Räumen zu schaffen.
Für die ersten beiden »Seven Speakers« Installationen schuf Min Stiller eine Inszenierung aus Pflanzen und Keramiken auf Holzelementen, in die sich Lautsprecher und Kabel organisch einschmiegten. »Seven Speakers A Listening Environment«, 2010 im Gartenstudio Naunynstrasse Berlin, versammelte Kompositionen von acht MusikerInnen: Narrow Bridges, Barbara Morgenstern & Chor der Kulturen der Welt, Marcus Schmickler, Kante, Bacchus Marteau, CFM, Phillip Sollmann/Efdemin und KREIDLER - mit einer Surround-Version ihres Stückes »Kremlin Rules«.
Die zweite Installation, 2011, im Projektraum NR4 war Teil des CTM Festivals Berlin.
Im Frühjahr 2017 war »Seven Speakers« Gast bei Image Movement Berlin mit einem Surround-Mix des damals aktuellen KREIDLER Albums: »European Song Seven Speakers«.
