REVERY is the third single from Kreidler's album SPELLS AND DAUBS.
A synth sequence chases forward, with an enchanted melody on co-driver's seat. The rhythm section in no hurry goes for the half time. The fretless bass beyond its indicator of the low frequency swoops up and takes over the melodic lead.
Mixed by Peter Walsh (Heaven 17, Scott Walker, FKA Twigs), REVERY is one of the most enticing songs on the album, this feels already like a classic.
To make a prairie it takes a clover and one bee,

The interlude displays a structure with masts and antennas, birds raise and descent –
a yellow mood, a haunted haunt. An old film turns to a particular colour.
The enclosed future reaches towards tomorrow.

ARENA is a melancholic urge, the song runs into a delay, its theme turns over, tumbles, falls into itself, finding itself in itself, and takes itself up again.
The bass line under- and overscores the synth melodies, snow flakes fall on a lattice of inciting drums.

ARISE ABOVE is the first single from Kreidler's upcoming album SPELLS AND DAUBS (to be released in January 2022 on Bureau B).
A soaring synthesiser starts the drum beat, the bass kicks in, and the rhythmic framework is ensnared by a netting of enchanted melodies.
The ha-ha-ha of a synthetic voice accompanies us through the song, which ends in an Eve Future like theme on the piano.
Mixed by Peter Walsh (Heaven 17, Scott Walker, FKA Twigs), ARISE ABOVE is a piece of euphoric pop melancholy.

outskirts of Berlin.

Conceived during the MOSAIK 2014 sessions – I had a room in art dealer Micky Schubert's
apartment in the Pierre Vago building, overlooking the Hansaviertel, when a call from Cologne came
in. In homage to Sci-Fi auteur extraordinaire Mark von Schlegell and his eponymous novel.

I agree with Wolfgang Müller, that Australian dude in his cowboy boots marching into Berlin ruined
the musical scene of that period; it took a while to recover. We did this one because Alex of COS is
of Australian descent, and of course for the love of Kylie.

Around Oranienstraße, at a certain time. My band mate Alex's outfit with Rob Taylor, ghastly, all of
Love's Recurring Dream's titles are aptly fitting in times of Q. I narrowed it down to Standstill, These
Days Are Ours, and Snow, and went for the latter, as a hello! to the famous and most lovely
Berlin-based Djane of the same name.
